Finding Your Leadership Style - Course Coming Soon

Updated: Nov 3, 2025

If you've ever found yourself excelling in certain roles while feeling drained in others, your leadership style could be the key. Understanding your style empowers you to select opportunities that align with your strengths, adapt with confidence when necessary, and lead with assurance, reducing self-doubt.

What a Leadership Style Really Is

A leadership style is not a rigid box, but a flexible compass. It's the pattern of how you influence, decide, communicate, and care for people. Great leaders understand their default style and then expand their range, becoming more versatile and adaptable in their leadership approach.

Four Introductory Styles

  • Servant: You put people first and remove barriers so others thrive. You are trusted, steady, and values-driven.

  • Transformational: You paint a compelling vision and energize people to reach it. You are future-focused and inspiring.

  • Situational: You read the room and adjust. You choose the right level of direction and support for each person and task.

  • Transactional: You set clear expectations and establish systems to ensure work is completed on time. You are consistent and accountable.
